Jaymi Davis, Mr. Malloyd's daughter, an alumni from GCA in 2006, has been named "Student of the Month" by "Get in the Game Saint Louis.

    Strong Faith and a positive attitude are just two characteristics that make Lutheran North High School senior Jaymi Davis a great role model and a school leader.

    These characteristics and her ability to inspired others led to Davis's selection as "Get in the Game Saint Louis" magazine's March Student of the Month. "When I work hard, I don't do it for an award, " Davis said. "So to get an award: it's an honor and a privilege."

    Self-confidence doesn't just happen over night. Davis said her faith in God and her supportive family are the reasons behind her success. "Having Christ in my life has really shaped me," Davis Said. "Living in a Christian home is also a blessing.

    Using the Bible as her fundamentals and live by the phrase, "Don't throw your life away, because you only got one to live," has been the key to Davis' personal success story.

The fifth grade recently celebrated with "Manners Day". Their room was transformed into the "Grace Sonshine Cafe. The tables were set with formal place settings of real china and silverware. Everyone practiced polite table manners, and the boys did an excellent job of being gentlemen. They watched a movie and had an intermission of cake and punch. Everyone had a great time, and they think we should make this an annual event!

Also we had amazing parent/waiter volunteers, thank you all so much! Also, we thank you Mrs. Jouett for taking care of every detail!

Nicole McGraw, a 2009 GCA graduate who now attends St. Charles West High School, earned a 4.0 gpa for the first semester. Nicole is currently ranked 1st in her freshman class of 218 students.

A note from Nicole's parents says it best. "Please share with Nicole's former teachers that they did an amazing job preparing her for high school... She is especially proud of the 99 she got on her Geometry final last month. We are very proud of her and her efforts. We are likewise just as proud of Lisa and Danielle who continue to do well at GCA. We appreciate the time, love and servanthood from all the GCA teachers and staff."
