*Please Note:  GCA Spirit Days will be scheduled for the last school day of every month.  Students can wear any GCA spirit wear on top and any bottoms, including jeans, of their choice.  Every other uniform code still applies, like tucking in shirts, wearing a belt, and wearing closed toed and backed shoes. GO GCA!!

Don't miss this fun filled night of fellowship, food, and trivia!  We have so much fun at this event and are looking forward to another great turn out!  Tables work as teams of 8 to answer 10 categories of fun questions...our Trivia Night has been a bit challenging in the past but this year it promises to be the BEST and most fun ever! 

When:  Friday, January 23

Time:  7:00 - 10:00pm (doors open at 6:00)

Where:  Grace Church Gymnasium

Cost:  $15/person (we provide light snacks and soft drinks)

Prizes:  Many prizes are given out throughout the evening along with auction baskets and prizes given to the BEST table decorations and BEST food brought in at your table.  We encourage you to bring food to share at your table and with our fabulous judges!!!

TJ's Sale:

One of our fine students, Zachary Maxwell, went all out for our first TJ's sale of the year!  He represented GCA in a fine fashion!  He is in PreKindergarten and did a top notch job selling those pizza's and desserts! 

How could anyone resist this fine salesmen?!  Great job Zachary!

GCA Benefit Golf Tournament Was a Great Success:

We had 79golfers and made almost $8,000 for GCA!  Thanks to all who helped, attended, sponsored, and donated to make this event the best one ever!  See our home page for details!

 Always be in thought and prayer on how financial blessings can come our (GCA’s) way! For several years, our contact at Labor Local 110 purchased $30,000 worth of Schnucks cards from us to give to their employees during the holidays! That is such an incredible blessing to GCA and to the employees of Labor Local 110! This year they have contracted with us to purchase $36,250 worth of Shop n' Save gift cards!  Wow, what a blessing!  Please think of possible ways in which your company or someone you know could do the same thing during the holidays or any time! Just give the contact’s name and number to Pat Maguire and she will make the call…you will receive the credit! Wow, sounds like a win-win situation for everyone!!! Here are ways you can get involved:

Scrip Program:  I can't stress it enough how much this Scrip Program could mean to GCA! Parents are always asking for ways that we can bring money into GCA without it hurting their pocket books...I'm telling you parents, this is the program!

This 2008-2009 school year we have "on hand" gift cards available only in the office this year.  We have an extensive list of merchants available to make this process even easier for you.  Scrip certificates make your gift giving easy. They make great Birthday gifts, Holiday gifts, Graduation gifts, you name it! If you don't want to give a Scrip certificate as the gift, then use one to purchase your gift!   Just do it with Scrip! Come on, it's that easy!

Our orders will go in on the first Tuesday of every month and will be back on Friday of that same week, please use the order forms that will be sent home, via email, during this time.  Please leave the bottom portion on the long form, we will cut it off and return it to you with your order. The Scrip Program runs from July-May for your fundraising credit.

Clothing Drop Box:  Drop your old clothes, bedding and other related items in the little yellow house so Grace Christian Academy can receive $$$ for them. Thanks for dropping your unwanted clothes into the box.

Recycle Program: Bring in your old cell phones and we will receive $$$ for them!

Aluminum Can Recycling: You probably have noticed the big bin next to the Clothing Drop Box! But did you know that is where you can bring in your aluminum cans to be recycled and support GCA, as well! Just remember to make sure that you have completely emptied the cans before putting them into the bin and DO NOT throw any plastic bags into the bin--keep the bag you have brought them in and throw it away elsewhere.  Just follow the instructions on the bin.  Thanks for helping take care of our earth and GCA in the process!

Volunteers Needed For New Ideas:  We have so many ideas for fundraising events but not enough people to help these ideas become a reality.  Without someone to take an event and own it, it will most likely not become a reality for us.  Here is a list of some of the ideas we have had that really need someone to take over and run with.  Get Involved!
